TILDEN and the Theban Hero, Emory, Andrew Scott Ross
TILDEN and the Theban Hero (detail)

For this work I integrated photographic reproductions of Greek and Roman art from the historical Micheal C. Carlos Museum, which was located beside the contemporary gallery on Emory's campus. The reproductions were integrated back into my personal mythological world of cut paper. Greek and Roman mythology was meshed with my own and this was the result. All paper was cut by hand including the sea that covered the 8 X 18 foot stage.
